The Rising sign is more sensitive — it shifts roughly every two hours — so an approximate birth time can occasionally land you on a neighboring sign. For a precise Rising sign, use your exact birth time if you have it.
Why does my exact birth time matter so much?
The Ascendant (Rising sign) is tied to the earth's rotation at your exact moment and place of birth. Because it moves through all twelve signs roughly every 24 hours, even a 10–15 minute difference can occasionally change the result.
